About the Event
After the completion of the highly successful Madhurdhwani Chapter 1, National Awardee Pandit Iman Das is back curating Madhurdhwani @2 and this time its completely on various Kannada genres.
This is probably the 1st time that a non-kannadiga will be presenting a completely kannada song presentation of various genres. This unique morning concert will feature Karnataka Rajyotsabha winner Vidushi Vaishali Srinivas ji, highly acclaimed classical vocalist & proffessor who will sing beautiful Dasavanis.
Shri Chethan Naik,popular Kannada playback singer who has sung in more than 300 films will present a bunch of Bhavageethes. Young Shri Basvanth Rao, also a very promising name in kannada playback industry will present Vachanas. Both Chethan & Basvanth are disciples of Pt. Iman Das. The opening act of Kannada devotional songs will be conducted by Smt.Amulya Kattimani & Shri Sumanth Naik,both disciples of Pt.Iman Das,they will lead a bunch of young promising singers. Tabla,keyboard and guitar will enhance the richness of these songs.
