About the Event
Utpatti - meaning “origin” or “creation”, is more than a performance for us; it is a deeply personal offering from our hearts to yours.
We - Chandana H, Bindu Suma J, and Kavana Adve - have been dancing together for almost a decade under the guidance of our beloved guru, Ranjitha S Bonny, founder of Nitara Kathak Classes. Over these years, Kathak has become more than an art form: it is our shared language, our meditation, our joy.
In Utpatti, we invite you to join us on a journey that celebrates the essence of creation — both within and beyond us. Every piece we present is a reflection of our individual and collective stories: moments of stillness and dynamism, devotion and playfulness, silence and sound. We wish for each movement, each rhythm, each glance to speak directly to you, without the need for explanation.
This evening is not just about performance; it is about presence, connection, and feeling the pulse of life through dance. We are offering you a space to experience, to wonder, and perhaps to rediscover your own beginnings.
